I think that the bedroom and the furnishings, the bed (re softness/hardness), tea/coffee makng facilities and the view are of more importance than the bathroom. I just don't get it why some travellers post photos of the bathroom and toilet on this site! Am I missing something?If it is functional with a toilet, shower cubicle, wash basin, large mirror, wall sockets and an exhaust fan, what more is needed?

On a new housing estate I ended up having to use the garage for storing my car (I know right, what's the world coming to) after a series of thefts and attempted thefts in the area. This is a nuisance when someone has to use the bathroom in the middle of the night or needs to start getting ready earlier than the other person. Sure if there is a night light or enough ambient light you may not have to turn on the bathroom light but that's not always the case especially depending on why you need to use it!

Some "see through" rooms are good, some not so much. I stayed in this one - Home Hotel on Taipei last summer and quite enjoyed it. To enter the shower one steps down into an open soaking tub. The outside wall is also glass with views across the alley. The toilet is in a separate room.Found the hotel... the room looked like this one but the bath was bigger. This is at the other end of the big square room. See the toilet paper on the wall with no door.
