Mark of the Wolves, arguably their efforts in terms of game play, graphics, was just ahead of it's time, like SFIII: 3rd Strike. The game play at the time was a bit too complex for the average fighter, but since players today have advanced so far (thanks to YouTube match vids) ahead, a sequel to MOTW would be the right timing to produce.

We'll see. We just have to wait for the interview to transcribed.

Persistence is what drives motivation and success. To those doubters out there, I can only say that good news looms regarding this topic. Further details will be provided in a recent interview we did with SNK Playmore USA and Japan.

Meine Meinung: Ein MOTW2 ist momentan wieder etwas wahrscheinlicher geworden, zumindest ausschließen würde ich es nicht mehr kategorisch.

Bevor jetzt alle in Jubelarien ausbrechen: Wir müssen erstmal abwarten bis das Interview auf snk-capcom.com online geht, dann kann man mehr sagen.
Fakt ist: Es gibt auf jedenfall neues zum Thema MOTW2, was immer es auch sein mag.

Warten wir mal ab was da auf uns zukommt.

Mal schauen was SNKP mit MOTW2 aus dem Hut zaubern wird (wenn es denn jemals erscheint).

Hoffen wir nur dass Fatcoon nicht für das Character Design bei MOTW2 verpflichtet wird.

LOL. Naja ich ahne, worauf das hinauslaufen könnte... MotW Story wird ab KoF XIII in KoF weitererzählt. Oder in MI3.

Sowas in der Art (wurde ja auch schonmal von Falcooooooon angedrocht) :O

Ich schätze, bevor KoF XII angelaufen ist, wird man wenig echte Details über zukünftige Projekte erhalten. Sollte es wirklich ein MotW 2 geben... WOW, das wär mal was. Aber im gleichen Grafikgewand wie KoFXII? Könnte SNKP sich das überhaupt leisten (zeit- und manpowertechnisch, ich mein, die haben grad lauter AufZeit-Animatoren nur für KoFXII...)

Im kürzlich von SNK-CAPCOM.com geführten Interview mit SNK Playmore
gab es einige überaus interessante Details zu einem möglichen MOTW2.

There were rumors, but also confirmation from SNK Executives knowledge and production of a MOTW 2 for the NEO GEO; however, speculation has it that it was during the time of SNK's restructuring, so eventually, the project was canceled. Whatever happened to this and are we ever going to see an original follow up to this?

SNKP: The story has not been concluded in Mark of the Wolves which we released in 1999. We think we should conclude the story of Fatal Fury someday. There's not currently in any concrete demand schedule, but with some new technology we're working on, that is something that is in our mind.

S-C: According to SNKP JP though, there was one in the works for the NEO GEO in a previous interview with Falcoon.

SNKP: With what went on in Japan with restructuring, there was some files that were no longer available. But those versions would not have been on playable formats with the new generation hardware.
