Da die Infos immer mehr werden, nun ein eigener Thread für KOF98UM

- The arrange mode has an Ultimate Match logo. The original mode has the regular logo, it seems to be a complete port with just the online and the color edit added.
- The arrange mode has several new modes over the regular Advanced and Extra (a total of four modes)
- Characters in the trailer : Kyo in new clothes, Iori, Kasumi, Geese, Terry, Normal Kyo, Lucky, Omega Rugal.
- In the gackground of trailer: Vice, Mature, Eiji, Goenitz, Robert, Kim and some others were waiting.
- New energy bars (Green, then Red)
- New power gauge (like the N groove in CvS2, The stocks were shown as a number).
- Classic Terry was doing some sort of fire kick SC Buster Wolf.
- Normal Kyo has the 182 shiki.
- Kasumi has her super throw.
- Omega Rugal has his KOF2002 teleport attack.
- The winning artworks were Shinkiro-ish, not the regular 98 ones. It is not confirmed if its really his work.
- The sprites are not high-resolution like 94 Rebout, but it seems a bit more clean.
- When SNKP representatives were asked if they could release this version of KOF98 in the arcades, they answered they were thinking about it and it would depend of the reception of the game.

Das mit den Artworks wäre sehr schön,wen es so wäre.
Aber ich finde es schade das 98 nicht High-res sein wird. Aber mal abwarten wie die Bilder zu dem Game ausschauen

Na darauf kann man ja noch nicht wirklich unterschiede erkennen. Die Bilder sond sicher von der MVS Version,auf dem Flyer Die andere wird noch geheim gehalten

Wie du schon sagtest, nur altbekanntes auf dem Flyer...
Ein bißchen mehr Info hätte uns SNKP schon zukommen lassen können...
Wie lange dauert denn die TGS noch ? Vielleicht bekommen wir doch noch mehr zu sehen ?

Danke für den Link, zu KOF98UM muß es aber auch einen Trailer geben, der was von der neuen Version selbst zeigt.

Na das klingt doch schon mal nicht schlecht. Bin gespannt was es noch für Extras geben wird. Das Boss Team ist ein großer Plus Punkt für diese „Neue“ Version.

SYSTEM CHANGES
- The general damage has been lowered (especially the command throws)
- You can escape a normal throw even in EXT (but not during your evasion move, and neither can the ADV mode)
- Generally, it's easier to escape normal throws.
- The EXT mode gauge is stocked when full. you can't use lever+button moves during a step (but specials are OK)
- You need to activate the stock to do MAX supers, but emergency escape or guard cancel attacks don't require activation.
- The activation can be done during normal moves, special moves, and even during guard (but it doesn't cancel anything). It can't be activated during air moves or while shooting projectiles. Once activated, it acts like a regular 98 EXT gauge.
